I’d like to share with you some of my thoughts on jes how fantastic I find this here cyberspace to be in relation to my own exiztenz…
I find it absolutely overwhelmin’ that,like,for instance,I’m takin’ a free course from MIT here on the Web on “Anthropology of
Cyberculture” which be a graduate course-fortunately,’cause of m’vast experiential ‘n’ research,be not THAT beyond my
comprehension,’n’ it be a gas ’cause I be learnin’ all about Automata ‘n’ Cyborgs ‘n’ Cyberfeminism…really Coolthe shit,DIG?…
‘n’ it blows m’skull that MIT offers countless online courses for free ‘n’ like,isn’t that what education should be?…
but what’s really amazing t’ me,be that,like, I have a collection of thousands of books-everything,man,from Native Americans,
Blues,Jazz,Noir Lit,Beat Generation/Authentic Hipster Lit,Horror-SplatterPunk,Cyberpunk/Sci Fi,…it goes on ‘n’ on…
in every room,on everything that ever interested me…point I be tryin’ t’ make here be that,it’s a gas havin’ all these texts
but what’s even more mind-blowin’ be that I can boot up ‘n’ jack in t’ this computer ‘n’ cyberspace ‘n’ research ANYTHING!!!
and I sometimes even get feedback that’s too phenomenal to even imagine!…’n’ so I can download what I DIG as PDFs,
or print it out,or save it as bookmarks…my own amazing library on my computer!WOW!!!…and a library of fantastic
images I download that I can collage into my texts or whatever…the possibilities are seemingly infintesimal…
now of course there’s a lot of negative shit about cyberspace-too phallocentric/logocentric,Robopathic CONTROL MACHINED
especially since 9/11 ‘n’ all that,too conformist yuppie phoney “hipster” trust fund baby oriented…man,I don’ know ’bout
most o’ that jive but I do be HIP this here cyberspace be nothin’ but a damn good thing for me as an artist ‘n’ CYBORMYZTECHNO/
BIOMECH MUTANT in this here Nex Millenniuum!!!…and the fact that cyberspace be THE place where I’m actually communicatin’
with my children ‘n’ friends NOW tells me its some kind o’ blessin’ s’t'speak…’cause I get more feedback from emails ‘n’ like,that
than tryin’ t’ call on the horn(telephone) even them there cellphones!,leavin’ messages,’cause, yes,my kids ‘n’ friends have LIVES,
Y’DIG?,’n’ computers(fortunately!) are NOW very much part o’ LIFE in this 21st century…I better shut up now,but thing is:
I DIG CYBERSPACE!!!
